busy weekend.

Backyard fixings, a wedding and Thanksgiving dinner -- this weekend was a busy weekend. Now that the weather has been decent enough... actually decent doesn't cut it... it's been gorgeous! Mike finally has the time to work on his yard. Sod layed down, walk way finished and now his fence. Early mornings and late nights, the yard is coming together, slowly but surely.

CONGRATS to Dennis and Chelsea Ellison!

Last but not least, thanksgiving dinner. My mom and I cooked dinner... she obviously cooked the turkey or else we would have been eating burnt, dry turkey. Took all day to cook and only took about 5 minutes or even less to get full.

Grandma's Birthday Dinner

We just went to this little chinese restaurant in our community called Jade Inn Restaurant ... I think. It was pretty alright. Sadie was given one of the little tea cups and she kepts pretending to drink out of it. It was the cutest thing.

I'm a little upset that I wasn't here to see this. But right after I left for work, Sadie brought her doll and stuffies to the kitchen, layed them in a line like this and told my mom "shhhh" because they were sleeping. Made me smile when I heard about it and glad my mom was quick to grab the camera.

we have visitors

We had my Auntie Del, Perry, Nico, Gabby and my Grandma visit us for 5 days. Banff, Edmonton, Canada Day and more. Fun times with the familia.

Glad that we could have them stay with us. Sadie had so much fun playing with Tito Nico. I'm sure she loved having someone close to her age play the same things as her. Can't wait to see them when we visit Winnipeg.
